50th Anniversary 100mph Isle of Man Lap Bob McIntyre Memorial Classic Races, East Fortune
I was unable to take many photos at the meeting last Weekend at East Fortune, on the Saturday the problem was the terrible conditions which meant that not a wheel was turned in anger all day. Everybody kept the bikes covered up all day and stayed in their caravans and tents all day. After many track inspections we finally gave up on getting any racing done in the early afternoon. These photos are of the beautiful Gilera 4 replica built by Dave Kay, the other photos were taken during one of the Sunday parades, as you can see the weather on Sunday was excellent.
A superb days racing was put on by the competitors to make up for the disappointment of Saturday, Lea Gourlay in particular who rode in eleven races and won all of them, his Summerfield Manx Nortons and Rob North Triumph ran superbly all day. If I get any racing shots from the meeting I will publish a selection of them.
